As fans obsessively dissect the footage, there’s more controversy for Louis as the 22-year-old supposedly uses a racial slur—a shortened version of the n-word—in the video.
“It’s only green, n**,” Louis allegedly says.
While Louis and Zayn have yet to comment on the video themselves, a rep for the boy band says the shocking video, which was exclusively released by the Daily Mail, was stolen and lawyers are currently investigating. .

A shocking new video has been released of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik allegedly smoking marijuana — and it has fans freaking out.
The footage shows the two young men laughing and talking about a joint before a concert.
“So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days,” 22-year-old Louis can be heard saying.
The video, obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail, was supposedly shot in April when the guys performed for 40,000 fans in Lima. He then turns to his band mate and asks, “What do you think about that kind of content?”
Zayn replies, “Very controversial.”

“That’s just Zayn warming up there before the show,” Louis continues.
“Zayn takes his job very seriously. He makes sure he goes through a two-hour intense warm-up regime before every show just to get himself in the zone. One very, very important factor to Zayn’s warm-up, of course, is Mary J herself.”
The short video continues with banter between the two young men—who discuss “contraband”, “the po po” and smelling “an illegal substance.”
The video has caused tension between the fans. Some have shown unwavering support for the guys—with hashtags such as #ZouisYouLightUpThatBluntLikeNobodyElse, a play on the lyrics of “What Makes You Beautiful” (“Baby you light up my world like nobody else”).
Others have demanded an apology from Zayn and Louis and have burned their tickets as a sign of protest.
A rep for the band says the video was stolen, and has told TMZ they are investigating.
