Brad Pitt is, quite famously, a family man—he's got six kids under the age of 12 with fiancée Angelina Jolie.
But the 48-year-old actor rarely shows that side of himself onscreen, at least not to the degree that he does in the just-released trailer for his next movie, World War Z.
The preview of the new flick shows Brad stuck in a New York City traffic jam, playing a round of "20 Questions" with his wife and two daughters. But then, of course, everything goes pear-shaped.
Threatened by a sprinting mob of zombies, Brad’s character, Gerry Lane, goes into action hero mode, running through the streets and commandeering an abandoned RV.
“Tell the kids I’m coming back,” he says to his on-screen wife, whom he left to take on the zombies. “Just know…I’m coming back.”
The movie, due out next June, promises to be a blockbuster based on this pulse-pounding preview.
But will Pitt's character, a UN Employee, be able to forestall the zombie apocalypse? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
