Fans better get used to the naughty side of Vanessa Hudgens.
The former Disney star, who recently played an out-of-control student in the flick Spring Breakers, has returned to music, releasing a single inspired by the film, which she titled “$$$ex.”
“It’s been a while since I’ve released a track, so I’m so excited to share this with y’all! Last night I spent some time recording in the studio w/ Rock Mafia &YLA! The song’s inspired by SPRING BREAKERS,” Vanessa shared on her blog.
Calling it a “bomb ass song,” the new single includes lyrics about pleasing a man with “a condom in his wallet.” The song’s opening line states, “Can’t you feel my hot sex, heart stop beating?”
In Spring Breakers, Vanessa, who plays Candy, robs a bank with her girlfriends to fund their drug-fueled, sex-filled spring break trip.
Before the flick hit theatres, Vanessa opened up about the hesitation that surrounded her scandalous role— a far cry from her days in Disney’s High School Musical.
NEWS: Vanessa Talks 3-Way Sex With Spring Breakers Co-Stars
"The thing I was most scared of was the sex scene and the nudity issue behind all of it," she told MTV. "Because I was not down to show this [gestures to chest]."
Vanessa is referring to the admitedly “extremely uncomfortable” three-way sex scene between herself and co-stars James Franco and Ashley Benson.
“It was like the weirdest thing ever; I mean I think just as an actor in general that’s such an uncomfortable thing to do,” Vanessa told Jimmy Kimmel of their ménage à trois. ”We were like, ‘This is gonna be fine, right?’ We were giving ourselves so much anxiety that we were so much more nervous by the time we actually got to set. It was just bad.”
Now that Spring Breakers is in theaters and “$$$ex” has been released, it’s safe to say we’re getting used to a much dirtier side of this sweet-turned-scandalous star.
