For the second season, Vanessa Hudgens has been named the face of Bongo—and in a surprising change of pace, it’s actually her face we’re seeing!
In the ads for Bongo’s Fall 2014 collection, the Spring Breakers star decided to ditch the Photoshop route and go all-natural and completely unretouched.

The 25-year-old hopes her decision to appear free of digital alterations inspires others to do the same.
“This is my second season working with Bongo and it’s been such a treat!” she said in a statement released with the images.
“The clothes really make me feel carefree and confident, which is why I love that the final ad images are unretouched. It’s so important for girls to remember that real beauty shines from within and I’m so proud that Bongo is choosing to send such a positive message with this campaign.”
Dani Marder—the Chief Marketing Officer for Bongo’s parent company, Iconix Brand Group—spoke out saying the company admires Vanessa’s confidence for this campaign.
“In the age of Instagram filters and photoshop apps, it is more important than ever that Bongo remains committed to inspiring girls to feel comfortable in their own skin, and we are excited to be partnering with Vanessa to send that message with this campaign,” she said.
