No Bad Blood! Tristan Thompson Sweetly Reacts to Malika Haqq’s Pregnancy: ‘Blessings on Blessings’

Color us surprised! Shortly after Khloé Kardashian‘s longtime best friend Malika Haqq announced that she was pregnant on Friday, September 27, Koko’s ex Tristan Thompson took to Instagram to show the mama-to-be some love. “Congrats, Malika. Blessings on blessings,” the Cleveland Cavaliers star, 28, wrote.

Considering Malika, 36, fiercely defended Khloé, 35, following Tristan’s highly publicized cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods, we’re relieved to see that things in Kar-Jenner land are calming down. Then again, could the professional athlete’s well-wishes for Malika just be a ploy to get back on Koko’s good side?

After all, Tristan has been thirsting after the Good American founder quite a bit these days. First, on September 21, he commented “perfection” and a heart-eyed emoji on some sexy snapshots of Khloé wearing a denim bustier. Fast forward six days later on Thursday, September 26, and Tristan commented, “The sun is shining bright on a be beautiful [diamond],” on Khloé’s latest selfie.

As sweet as Tristan’s sentiments may be, fans are not having it. “Back up!!!” one user commented. “You gotta be kidding me. Boy, [you’re] something else!!” added another. Given the predictable backlash, you’d think Tristan would avoid making his intentions known publicly. However, a source recently told In Touch that he hopes to rekindle things with Khloé.

“Tristan hasn’t given up on Khloé and is always playing mind games with her,” the insider explained. “She is too easy on him and can’t be cold to him because she always wants to keep a happy home for True. That’s why she can never completely cut him off.” While Koko’s loved ones fully understand that she wants what’s best for the pair’s 17-month-old daughter, that doesn’t mean that they support anything romantic happening between her and Tristan.

“Tristan knows that the family doesn’t want them back together, so he is trying to weasel his way back,” the insider noted. Hmmm, we don’t know about y’all, but trying to get back in Malika’s good graces sounds a bit like weaseling to us.
