Yikes. Jenelle Evans’ former bestie Tori Rhyne was reportedly arrested. According to Radar Online, the 24-year-old reality TV alum is currently serving time at North Carolina’s Brunswick County Detention Center for heroin charges. The facility told the website that Tori, who turned herself in on Tuesday, Oct. 10, is set to be released on Oct. 14.

A clerk from the New Hanover County Court told Radar that Tori’s sentence is in relation to her April 2016 arrest for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. “She has to serve 10 days in jail set by the probation officer,” the clerk explained. “It’s a deferred prosecution. They might reduce the conviction level if she works out an agreement with the judge.”

Radar reports that Tori is due back in court on Aug. 2, 2018. As fans are well aware, Tori’s old BFF Jenelle was once addicted to heroin. The Teen Mom 2 star, 25, revealed that she almost died from her issues with substance abuse during an emotional interview with E! News several months ago.

“I think my low point was with my drug issue and the whole heroin thing,” the MTV personality admitted. “I almost overdosed and died. I was trying to run away from my problems and then I almost overdosed. God knows what might have happened. I might have been dead.”

Jenelle later elaborated on her addiction to the opioid drug in her memoir, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, which was released in July. In her tome, the mom-of-three said that she was shooting up “four or five times a day” when her drug use was at its heaviest.

Jenelle eventually kicked her habit following a 2013 stint in rehab, and said that the memory of the severe withdrawals she experienced after coming off of heroin have motivated her to stay sober. “When I started withdrawing for the first time in my life, I was like, ‘This is not the way I want to live,’” she told E! News. “‘This is scaring the s–t out of me, and I need to get help right now.’”
