The dress Rihanna wore to the CFDAs—maybe you’ve seen it, it was made up of thousands of Swavorski crystals, leaving nothing to the imagination—has a lot of people talking.
And while some people praised the Barbadian beauty’s ability to literally shine bright like a diamond, others—like the ladies of TLC—were less than impressed with her very exposing choice.

“Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked,” T-Boz, whose real name is Tionne Watkins, said on Channel 7’s Sunrise in Australia.
“It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, ‘Oh, TLC must be jealous,’ but I call a spade a spade.”
Her band mate Chili agreed with the sentiment.
“We became the biggest girl selling group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,” the singer, born Rozonda Thomas, added. “We could go around too with boobie cakes out all day long.”

Of course, fans of RiRi were quick to point out that TLC was known to wear some skimpy outfits back in the day—and the singer countered in the most typical way possible.
“When there’s no changing the fact that I’m me, and they’re well… they’re them,” she tweeted, with a series of photos of her making funny faces.

This isn’t the first time TLC has called out today’s superstars for wearing risqué attire.
In November, the ladies opened up to In Touch and blasted Miley Cyrus for her wardrobe choices.
“Miley is a bigger deal because she came from Disney,” T-Boz told the mag last year. “We had a way of being sexy without showing all of out goody-goodies. We proved you could be successful by keeping your clothes on!”
