Following a tragic car accident that caused the death of former Disney Channel star Tiffany Thornton’s husband, Chris Carney, on early Friday morning, a new report claims the 35-year-old was drinking with his friend Ezekiel Blanton — who also passed away in the crash — before they got behind the wheel.
TMZ alleges the pair were drinking Fireball Whiskey shots at The Tavern in Little Rock, and could barely stand.

Chris and his two sons.
Chris allegedly struggled with alcohol abuse throughout the years, and his mom supposedly believed him to be sober, TMZ reports.
As In Touch previously reported, the late actor/musician was pronounced dead on the scene after the car went off the road while going 70 MPH around a bend and crashed into a tree.
The former star of MTV's twentyfourseven married Tiffany in 2011 and the couple have two children together — Kenneth, (a.k.a. "KJ"), 3, and Bentley, 21 months.
