Meet Avery Harriman, a 7-year-old who has had lymphoblastic leukemia since he was 2.
In 2012, Avery got a bone marrow transplant and was cancer-free, only to relapse 18 months later. He has been in the hospital ever since.
Last week Avery got some good news however, and learned he can go home, and the video of him finding out will both melt and break your heart.
Take a look above.
Sadly, Avery's battle is far from over though, and he heads back to the hospital next week for a bone-marrow biopsy.
"The best-case scenario is he has to go through another transplant, and we know he might not get through it," his father explained. "So even the best-case scenario is scary as s---."
The family does have a perfect bone-marrow match luckily, who promises he will be there if they need him.
