Kate is “the reason [her father is] dead”
Adult Kate (played by Chrissy Metz) tearfully admits to fiancé Toby (Chris Sullivan) that she’s “the reason” her father is dead. During a panel for Paleyfest, however, the cast clarified she isn’t “directly responsible” for her father’s death.
