Former NFL cheerleader Molly Shattuck has been indicted for allegedly raping a 15-year-old boy.
According to police in Sussex County, Del., the 47-year-old has been accused of having sex with the teen she met on Instagram. On Monday, Nov. 3, a grand jury indicted her on two counts of third-degree rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of distributing alcohol to a minor.
A local news station in Baltimore is reporting the documents claim she performed oral sex before offering to have sex with the young man, who is around the same age as her own children.
“[She said] if he wanted to have sex, she would,” the documents allege. “The boy opted out. He decided to leave. At that point, she told him to come back later but he did not go back.”
Shattuck made headlines in 2005 when she joined the cheerleading squad for the Baltimore Ravens as a 38-year-old, making her the oldest cheerleader in the NFL.
Earlier today, Nov. 5, the mother-of-three turned herself in to the authorities in Georgetown, Del. She later pleaded not guilty and was released on $84,000 bail.
After turning in her passport, authorities ordered Shattuck to avoid contact with any minors, with the exception of her own children.
