He was the last man standing for Team Christina on The Voice, and now Dez Duron is officially heading home— but not before dishing about his favorite coach, future plans and…Justin Bieber?
“I'm surrounded by amazing vocalists in this competition,” Dez says of his elimination. “Anybody could go home every week. My goal was to go out there and put my heart out on that stage and give a great performance.”

And that he did! But now that Christina’s last team member is heading home, what will she do for the remainder of the competition?
“I'm going to kick my feet up on my little chair,” Christina admits to In Touch. “I'm excited to be entertained, and of course I will be in support of who's the most impressive. And of course, my time will also be occupied with the holidays coming up, keeping in touch with [Dez], making sure he's good and handled and taken care of.”

So, what’s next for the 22-year-old hopeful?
“Making a Dez album. I think [Christina’s] definitely preparing me for that,” he says of his future plans. “I think that's why we never skated away from risks, like singing a Bieber song. I’m a fan of the Biebs!”
And while Dez got great feedback from Christina after he performed the teen heartthrob’s hit “U Smile” earlier this week, there is one person Dez hasn’t heard from about his rendition of the catchy tune…Justin Bieber.

“I haven't looked to see if he tweeted or anything like that,” he admits of Justin. “He has a great song and obviously, ‘Thank you for letting me borrow that for a little while, Biebs,’ I appreciate that.”
