When she’s not filming with The Real Housewives of Miami, Lea Black keeps herself busy with a slew of her own personal projects – some more for function than fashion. For the past 19 years, Lea and her husband, Roy Black, have held the Blacks’ Annual Gala in Miami at a variety of locations and with a wide range of celebrities and donors to the cause – The Consequences Charity and Foundation— which provides educational opportunities and resources for at-risk youth in America.

In the past, Lea’s musical guests have ranged from Barry Gibb of the BeeGees and Pharrell Williams to Queen Latifah and the legendary Tony Bennett.
EXCLUSIVE: 11 Questions With RHOM's Lea Black “It’s a good cause,” Lea says of the event that was held at her home for the first 10 years. “We have kept thousands of kids out of jail, helped them get through school – college or junior college or vocational school – and really educated the public on why it’s important that we invest in troubled teens.
