When she’s not filming with The Real Housewives of Miami, Lea Black keeps herself busy with a slew of her own personal projects – some more for function than fashion.
For the past 19 years, Lea and her husband, Roy Black, have held the Blacks’ Annual Gala in Miami at a variety of locations and with a wide range of celebrities and donors to the cause – The Consequences Charity and Foundation— which provides educational opportunities and resources for at-risk youth in America.

EXCLUSIVE: 11 Questions With RHOM's Lea Black
“It’s a good cause,” Lea says of the event that was held at her home for the first 10 years. “We have kept thousands of kids out of jail, helped them get through school – college or junior college or vocational school – and really educated the public on why it’s important that we invest in troubled teens. A lot is riding on this next generation.”
This year’s gala will be held at the Fountainbleau Beach Hotel on April 13th. Details and ticket information can be found at the event website.
