The Kardashian family has issued a statement regarding the charges that singer Brandy’s mom and manager, Sonja Norwood, has brought up against them claiming that the family charged over $120,000 to her credit card without her authorization.
“The charges against the Kardashians are meritless,” says the family in the statement. “Both Kim and Khloe were employed by the Norwoods and never used their credit cards without their express authorization. The Kardashian family looks forward to proving the absurdity of these claims in a court of law."
In the lawsuit filed today in LA County Superior Court, Sonja claims that Kim, who was Brandy's stylist in 2004, was authorized to make only one purchase on Sonya’s behalf with her American Express card — but Kim instead allegedly shared the card with her siblings to wrack up the over $120,000 in purchases.
"This lawsuit is ridiculous," Kim tells In Touch. "I'm gonna let the attorneys take it from here and I'm not able to talk about it any more."
