On the Aug. 18 MTV special Being Maci, it appeared Teen Mom’s Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were headed for a reunion.

Maci, 22, insists that nothing happened once the cameras stopped rolling. But In Touch can reveal that Maci and Ryan, 25, slept together in December shortly after filming wrapped!

“Ryan told me that he had sex with Maci,” says Dalis Connell, 21, Ryan’s ex (whom he cheated on with Maci). “After that they continued to hook up for two months."

Though Maci has since found love with Oklahoma-based granite company worker Taylor McKinney, 23, Dalis thinks that Maci will eventually end up with Ryan, who’s the father of Maci’s son, Bentley, 4. 

“After all this time, I think they should just go for it,” she says. “If I would want to see Ryan with anyone, it would be Maci. She has a good head on her shoulders. If Ryan and Maci got back together, I think it would work out.”
