‘The Bachelor’ Week 5 Spoilers: Nick Viall Says Rachel Lindsay Is a “Frontrunner”

Dallas native Rachel Lindsay made history as the first black woman to win the coveted rose on the season premiere, but the Season 21 contestant continues to steal Nick’s heart on their very first one-on-one date during week 5 of ABC’s The Bachelor!

According to spoilers from Reality Steve, Nick takes Rachel out on a solo date while they’re in New Orleans and it seems like the couple has a lovely time together. First, they have an intimate dinner date at Café du Monde, dance in a second line together, and then they cuddle and enjoy drinks while watching a performance by singer/songwriter Lolo — and Nick couldn’t help but gush over their date.

“Rachel has been kind of a frontrunner since day one,” Nick told Entertainment Tonight after their first date. “Because I have so much confidence in her, she kind of had to wait a little bit.”
