Nothing says turkey time like The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! The annual event is the key ingredient (aside from gravy) to starting the holiday out the right way.
So which performers will be making appearances at this year’s highly anticipated parade?
NBC star Jimmy Fallon and his go-to band, The Roots, will make a comeback this year after participating in the famous parade only two years ago. The group rocked out to holiday songs in 2010, but are bound to bring some fresh beats to the table this time around.
And speaking of beats, “Whistle” crooner Flo Rida will also entertain the crowd while riding on the Big Apple float. Whether or not he’ll sing one of his chart-topping hits or a holiday favorite is yet to be determined…but New Yorkers will be rocking out regardless!
While Flo Rida has been in the spotlight for quite a while, Macy’s is making sure this year’s hottest musical newbies are on the scene, too!
“Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen—who recently took home an AMA for Best New Artist— will perform at the parade, along with “Brokenhearted” duo Karmin and “Glad You Came” boy band The Wanted.
Moral of the story: Be sure to wear your dancin’ shoes with your stretchy pants this year.
Tons of other stars will climb aboard the famous floats to entertain folks before their feasts, from Olympic royalty to the beloved Muppets, so be sure to watch the parade live from NYC by tuning in to NBC from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 22.
