After serving almost a year in prison, Teresa Giudice is officially a free woman.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was spotted on Wednesday, Dec. 23 leaving the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., following her release at 5:01 a.m.
The reality star was taken to her home in New Jersey to reunite with her husband, Joe, and their four daughters — Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 7 and Audriana, 6.
A source close to the 43-year-old said, “She is thrilled that she is finally going home.”

To prepare for her big arrival home, Teresa reportedly took “some time to get herself together” and emerged with a face full of makeup.
“She was wearing all black and looked happy,” a source revealed, adding, “Joe was waiting for her in the driveway smiling, he looked like he was anxiously anticipating her arrival.”
As In Touch previously reported, the RHONJ starlet was sentenced to 15 months in prison in October 2014 after being found guilty of tax fraud. She surrendered herself to the correctional facility on Jan. 5, 2015.
Teresa’s husband, Joe, was also convicted and will complete his own sentence of 41 months following the starlet’s release.
