In the new issue of In Touch, Catelynn Lowell tells the mag that her baby daughter – who is due in January – will know all about her sister, Carly, the child Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra gave up five years ago.
“I’ll never hide anything from my kids. Our child [will grow up] with Carly around her,” Catelynn exclusively tells In Touch. The Michigan native already visits with Carly and her parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, twice a year, thanks to an open adoption. “My hope is that they’ll have a great relationship one day. They’re sisters.”
But the bond will develop on Brandon and Teresa’s terms. “I never want to hide anything from Carly, but I don’t feel it’s my place to tell her about the baby,” Catelynn tells In Touch, adding that the Davises plan to explain the situation to the little girl in their own time. “We’re going to bring our daughter when we visit Carly [next summer], so she’ll know about it by then — or as much as she can know at her age.”
