‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Amber Portwood Just Got Into an Epic Twitter War With Ex-Fiancé Gary Shirley
Shots fired! During the dramatic Monday, Jan. 15, episode of Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood got into an epic Twitter battle with her ex-fiancé Gary Shirley. The two went at it after a scene played out on the small screen in which Gary, 31, and his wife, Kristina, spoke poorly of Amber, 27. For a full recap of their feud, check out the video below!
During their social media war, Gary — who shares daughter Leah, 9, with Amber — retweeted a message from a fan who described the 16 and Pregnant alum as a “disgrace to all moms out there.” Clearly hurt by Gary’s endorsement of such a cruel remark, Amber clapped back with a heated tweet of her own.
“Make sure to watch Gary and Kristina tonight talking s–t about me! It must be hard making money off of me! Being such a bad mom and all,” Amber wrote. “Where would they be? Wait..in a 1 bedroom shack in the ghetto of Anderson where he was before I got out and the show came back on!! Ignorant!”
Despite her social media war with Gary, Amber — who is pregnant and expecting a baby boy with boyfriend Andrew Glennon — is doing her best to focus on the joy of expanding her family. “I’m glad to have such a beautiful family!” she wrote. “My life is full of joy and I now get to share it with my daughter and son on the way!”
The reformed addict, who completed 17 months of a five-year prison sentence in November 2014, went on to say that Andrew is to thank for much of her happiness. “Andrew is the reason I was able to pull myself together! He showed me that life was worth living!” Amber wrote. “I’m thankful to have him because now I will be ALIVE for my daughter and family!”
