So, we guess Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit McKee is a singer now. Better yet — she’s a rapper!
The mom-of-two dropped a track called "The Sweetest Treat" for diabetes awareness earlier this week. And while we totally respect that she’s doing something for a good cause, we can’t help but cringe a little bit…
The 20-year-old raps, “Mackenzie here. And Imma tell you a little tale about why your sweets aren’t always a treat… When you got Type 2, got to watch your diet, but you gotta eat to keep your tummy quiet. If your body don’t produce enough insulin, that’s the stuff that you need to get your energy fixins.”
On second thought — and don’t judge us — but…we kinda, sorta dig it.
We just feel so #blessed that these wonderful girls have found music as the most obvious way to be an advocate for a cause they really believe in!
C’mon, who can forget Farrah Abraham’s 2014 masterpiece "Blowin’"? Which was obviously not about anything dirty, but rather a statement about her zero-tolerance policy when it comes to bullying (as the chorus reminds you, she’s “blowin’ all the bullies away”).
What’s next? A folk song by Jenelle Evans about why you probably shouldn’t do drugs when you’re on probation and know that the possibility of a random drug test is very real?
We’ll be waiting!!!!
