Teen Mom 2 fans, there’s an exciting new addition on the way… to your bookshelf, that is!
Earlier this week, reality star and mom of two Kailyn Lowry revealed plans to release a tell-all book called Pride Over Pity, which will contain information that you will “be very surprised by,” according to Kail.
“There are a lot of things in it involving addiction, rape, being abandoned by my dad and tons of things in between,” Kailyn wrote on Facebook. “My life before the cameras and where I want things to go from here.”
Kailyn also promised that her book will be different from another Teen Mom author’s debut memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended by Farrah Abraham.
“Before you comment jumping to conclusions, it’ll be NOTHING like Farrah’s as far as editing goes,” she continued. “We’ve put a lot of work into this over the last couple of years and I think you all will be very surprised by it.”
The 22-year-old has a lot of life experiences already, and she’s hoping that releasing a memoir will help shine more light on what the cameras don’t show.
“Hopefully you guys will understand things a little better after reading it,” Kailyn said.
Pride Over Pity will hit shelves in April.
