To say that 2017 was a rough year for Kailyn Lowry is an understatement. Even though the Teen Mom 2 star experienced some great highs, she also experienced some pretty bad lows and she took to Twitter on Sunday, Dec. 31 to reflect on the past year and she got extremely candid about how she felt about it.

“Last year on NYE I came home from Denver and told [Bone Estrada] I was pregnant,” the 25-year-old wrote, adding the laughing with tears emoji. Her pal Bone responded to her tweet and also reminisced. “LMAOOO [sic] at Green f–king Turtle. I knew she was about to say something I didn’t want to hear cause that b—h was shaking.”

But even though Kail did give birth to her third child — a rainbow baby named Lux, who was conceived and born after she suffered a miscarriage — and she also graduated from Delaware State University, she still didn’t have very fond memories from the year. “2017 broke me,” she wrote, “but we got this 2018.”

Kail also went through her fair share of drama in 2017, from feuding on and off with her Teen Mom 2 co-star Jenelle Evans to working out a co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Javi Marroquin, and dealing with a split from her baby daddy Chris Lopez. Earlier this year, Kailyn confirmed that Chris is the father of her third son and she kept details about their relationship under wraps until she sat down with Dr. Drew Pinsky during the Teen Mom 2 reunion special that aired back in November and revealed that she hadn’t had contact with her son’s father since October.

“You know, he cheated on me my whole pregnancy. The things I went through… All the way leading up to having him was something that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy,” she said. “You know, it was like, ‘Oh, it’ll get better, it’ll get better’ and then it never got better. There’s no contact at all.”
