Jenelle Evans, 23, is once again facing the courtroom for her actions — as a new report claims the Teen Mom 2 star will present her assault case to a jury.
“The case will automatically come to jury court. A notice will be sent to [Jenelle and her attorney] in the mail notifying them of the date of the trial. It will be sometime next year,” a spokesperson from the Horry County jury tells Radar.

Jenelle was arrested in August for assaulting her ex-fiancé, Nathan Griffith’s new girlfriend; Jenelle threw a glass at her head when the exes came together to exchange belongings.
According to the police report, the Teen Mom 2 star claimed she “walked outside and the victim got out of the truck. The arrestee claimed that she was in fear, so she threw water at the victim and the jar slipped from her hand. The arrestee stated that the victim caught the jar and threw it back at the arrestee, striking her back and then broke.”

Though it was Jenelle's decision to face a jury in regards to this case — Radar reports that an attorney requested a jury trial and authorities honored that request — it's a surprising move considering the police report revealed the arresting officer had his doubts about not only Jenelle's motives, but also the logistics of her claims.
“This would have made the broken glass somewhere farther in the driveway. I looked and did not observe any redness or any other injury to the arrestee’s back,” he claimed in the police report.
