Taylor Swift Doesn’t
“Yell” at Her Ex
Boyfriends – But She
Sings About Them at
Taylor Swift may be over her exes, but she’s not done talking about them!
"I don't think I've ever yelled at [any ex boyfriends]," she shares in the March issue of ELLE. "Ever. I'm not a yeller. I'm not a fit thrower. If something is done, it's done."
Okay, so she doesn’t yell – but she does sing!
When the 22-year-old opened the Grammys on Feb. 10 with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” she tweaked the lyrics, seemingly talking to latest ex Harry Styles.
"So he calls me and goes, 'I still love you,'” the 23-year-old said in a suspiciously British-sounding accent. “And I'm like, 'I'm sorry, I'm busy opening the Grammys.’”
Despite her obvious reference to the One Direction star, "I'm sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I'm chasing somebody who doesn't like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me,” she admitted. “I never chase boys. They don't like it!'"
The couple split earlier this year after dating through the holidays…and it seems like a new song is on the way.
"To me it's just writing songs the way I always have. It's me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better,” the “Red” singer, who's also dated Conor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer, said about her inspiration. “It's just something I do to feel better."
Watch out, Harry! Taylor doesn’t argue, but you’ll hear her side on the radio!
