Hayley King, a 22-year-old student at the University of South Carolina, was arrested earlier this year after a hidden camera recorded her tainting her roommate’s food with Windex and her own saliva.
Her roommates allege the act was an attempt to poison them.
She was arrested and charged with unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food on Feb. 9 after surveillance footage caught her in the act days prior.

Hayley faces up to 20 years behind bars if convicted of the Class C felony.
Leading up to the incident, her roommates — who have decided to remain anonymous — say there were “multiple altercations” between them and Hayley, local news station 'WISTV' reports.
They asked her to move out and she refused, at which point they set up the camera because they were scared of what Hayley was doing when they weren’t home.

One housemate told police she ate the food that was infected with the glass cleaner and the saliva. Authorities also say that Hayley “confessed to the incident” and was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond on Feb. 10, the day after her arrest.
The case reemerged this week because she was scheduled to appear in court yesterday, May 4, but no ruling in her case was made. Hayley is expected to appear in court in June, 'ABC News' reports.
