The tale of Batkid is the kind of story that’ll make you cry, while bringing a huge smile on your face; meet Miles, a 5-year-old San Francisco native who is not only fighting cancer—but also crime and bad guys!
Through the Make-a-Wish foundation, San Francisco transformed into Gotham City as Miles kicked off his epic quest to save the city from evil!
Batkid has everything he needs to fight crime; a batphone (hooked up to a hotel room), a batmobile (which was once just a Lamborghini) and even a Robin—who is being played by his younger brother.
The entire city has supported the little superhero’s actions—and even those far from San Fr—uh, we mean Gotham City—are following his conquest on social media, with the hashtag, #SFBatkid!
