Stars go strapless for
SAG Awards

It may be the biggest Hollywood awards show this year — thanks to the ongoing writers' strike — and it showed, as plenty of big- and small-screen stars stormed the red carpet at last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Actresses were determined to dazzle and they glammed it up (and showed plenty of skin) in the night's standout trend: strapless.

Kate Beckinsale and Vanessa Williams both wowed in vivid yellow numbers while Michelle Pfeiffer, Ellen Pompeo and Marion Cotillard went for more subdued shades. Kate Hudson and Teri Hatcher opted for unusual prints while Amanda Bynes and Rebecca Gayheart chose bright colors for their strapless gowns. Of course, there are always a few risk-takers. A pregnant Cate Blanchett was glowing, but was overshadowed by the busy print of her dress. Sandra Oh looked like a present waiting to be unwrapped in her pink and gray number and Angelina Jolie probably caused the biggest uproar of the evening by wearing a voluminous dress that only fueled recent pregnancy rumors!
