Actor Anton Yelchin, who recently starred in the Star Trek series, has died.
The 27-year-old actor passed away early Sunday morning when his car rolled backwards, pinning the star against a brick mailbox pillar, Us Weekly reports.
The accident happened around 1:10 a.m., and friends became alarmed when he didn't appear on time for a rehearsal. They then visited his home and found him in the driveway.

Police suspect the young actor had exited his car, putting it in neutral, and had been standing behind it when the accident happened.
Police are not suspecting any foul play in the incident.
