Soccer star Hope Solo has allegedly been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
Reports claim the 32-year-old two-time Olympic gold medalist allegedly attacked her 17-year-old nephew and adult sister at a family party at her house in the city of Kirkland (near Seattle), Wash.
Solo was reportedly arrested before 1 a.m. on Saturday after someone called 911 saying a woman was “hitting people.”
The former Dancing with the Stars competitor – who was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Season 11 – was arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic violence assault in the fourth degree, which is classified as a gross misdemeanor.
Both her nephew and sister were observed as having “visible injuries" and according to the reports, Solo "appeared intoxicated and upset" when officers arrived.
E! reports Solo was booked into jail around 4 a.m. and is now being held without bail.
Hope is due to appear in court on Monday. According to Washington state law, if convicted, she would face a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail or a fine of no more than $5,000.
