It's going to get pretty tense on the 2018 Sister Wives tell-all. Throughout Season 12, Meri Brown and her husband Kody Brown have been very open about the state of their relationship and how it has deteriorated over the years — and things got worse after Kody divorced Meri to legally marry his fourth wife Robyn Brown and Meri got involved in a catfish scandal. But in a sneak peek for the upcoming tell-all, the polygamous couple is forced to be honest with themselves about whether their relationship stands a chance.

The tell-all host brought up a scene from the season where Meri got upset with her husband for telling a reporter intimate details about their relationship — that they "purport" to be husband and wife, but they don't live together as husband and wife.

"I was kind of mixed about it," Meri said as she opened up about how it made her feel. "Part of me was like, 'Wait, we don't need to share every little bit of information about our lives.' But at the same time, it's time to start being real and honest."

Meri has said that she feels like she and Kody act like a divorced couple who lives on the same block — and technically, they are — but the biggest issue that she's facing right now in her relationship with Kody is that he has said that he does not want to be physically intimate with his first wife. But it's unclear if Kody and Meri both feel that they're not ready to be intimate with each other or if Meri does want a physical relationship with Kody.

"I think I want more of a relationship with him than we're having right now," Meri said, and she revealed what she thinks it takes for her and Kody to get to that point. "Two parties [need to] want to work toward it, I think it's a lot of work."
