Canceling Their Tour,
The Jonas Brothers
Delete Their Twitter
This is an SOS, don’t want to second guess… but seriously, send help because the Jonas Brothers have deleted their Twitter account, @JonasBrothers.
On Oct. 9, band spokesperson Jesse Deris confirmed that the last-minute cancellation came after “there was a big disagreement over their music direction.”
However, none of the brothers have made any additional statements about the abrupt decision to cancel the tour—as a result, several rumors have circulated as to what’s behind the family tension.
The deletion of their Twitter account is the first public acknowledgement of any hostility by the band of brothers.
In simpler times for JoBro fans—before the fateful announcement, Nick, 21, sat down with Men’s Fitness and opened up on what it’s like to work with his brothers professionally.
“The pro [of being in a band with my brothers] is that you have a really good support system,” he said. “The con is that you’re with the same people every day for along time, which, if you’re family or not, can be a lot at times.”
Here’s to hoping that the brothers are just a little sick of each other and can get through this ASAP!
We’re not necessarily holding them to anything, but they did promise us at least seven albums by the year 3000…
