Work hard, slay harder! Reza Farahan opened up exclusively to In Touch about his incredible body transformation and revealed exactly what he eats in a day to maintain his 40-pound weight loss. According to the Shahs of Sunset star, 44, his diet is painstakingly bland — but super effective.
“I’m, like, militant. Breakfast is three quarters of a cup of egg whites with a quarter of avocado and two slices of Ezekiel bread,” he shared with In Touch. “And then I eat three more meals during the day that are all exactly the same.” To find out what else fuel’s Reza’s newly fit frame, watch the video below!
Reza’s journey to a healthier lifestyle kicked off last December. In addition to adopting stricter eating habits, the former marathon runner has fallen back in love with fitness. “[My workout regimen is] pretty intense. So I wake up at 5 AM. I get my iced almond milk latte with no sugar, I go to Gold’s Gym in Hollywood, and I do 30 minutes of a 10 percent incline for four miles an hour on the treadmill,” the LA resident told us. “And then I’ll work out with my trainer at lunchtime or after work, depending on my real estate schedule. And then I’ll got for a jog or light run in the evening.”
Basically, the man is pretty much always breaking a sweat. As fans may recall, the handsome real estate agent took to Instagram back in March to show off the fruits of his labor in before-and-after shirtless selfies. “I wanted to get my body back to where it used to be in my 20's and 30’s!” he wrote at the time.
He’s well on his way. Reza told In Touch that he currently weighs 198 pounds, and only has 13 more to lose before he reaches his goal weight of 185. “The way I feel now is so motivating that I don’t want to go back,” the Iranian-born reality star said, adding that he’s noticed major improvements in his overall health. “Like, I breathe better, I feel better. I smell better, I look better. Like, everything is better!”
