The beautiful and talented Selena Quintanilla may have died 22 years ago, but her memory still lives on in Hollywood! The singer is set to be immortalized with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Last year, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce picked Selena for the honor, and now we finally know when the special ceremony will take place. On Nov. 3, Selena's sister Suzette Quintanilla will accept the star for the beloved Latin artist at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of Capitol Records, the label Selena worked with to release her first studio album. On Nov. 1, Selena's Official Instagram page posted a photo of Suzette helping to prepare the star. "What a moment! Suzette, sharing in the making of her sister’s star," The caption read. "'They don’t give this honor to everyone, so I’m beyond honored… to be able to participate in the making of it, priceless.'"

Actress Eva Longoria will emcee the event, which is extra special because she is also from Corpus Christie, TX, where Selena lived. Eva will also be receiving a star that day, and she wrote on Instagram that she was honored to "stand side by side with my idol Selena Quintanilla! Corpus girls representing!"

But there's more, Selena fans. A posthumous star didn't seem like quite enough to honor the singer with, so Eva and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will also name Nov. 3, "Selena Day" from now on! Fans can live stream the historic event, here.

“Since day one of Selena’s selection into the Walk of Fame, not a day went by that we were not asked by fans when Selena would get her star,” said Walk of Fame ceremony producer Ana Martinez in a statement, according to People. “This day has come and fans from around the world will rejoice in her well-deserved honor.” you can say that again!
