As fans are well aware, both artists have crossed genres before. While Selena has worked with other MCs such as Gucci Mane and A$AP Rocky, Eminem has churned out hits with pop superstars such as Rihanna and Pink. Selena previously opened up about her love for the hip-hop visionary ahead of his performance at the 2011 Grammys.
“For me, I think that he’s so free with himself. I think that music is an awesome way to express yourself. When he goes on stage, when he comes to events like this, you never see him being all stiff and cool,” she told MTV News at the time. “He’s just, like, in a hoodie, goes on and performs. And he loves what he does and I love that.”
