The 28-year-old starlet became the first woman to ever win the tittle twice and a lot has changed for Scarlett since she first nabbed the crown in 2006.
Since she first received the honor seven years ago, she married—then divorced—actor Ryan Reynolds, and then began seeing ad exec Romain Dauriac, who she is now engaged to marry.
Scarlett revealed to the magazine that these relationships have help shaped her as a mature person.
“I didn’t think I was a jealous person, until I started dating my current, my one-and-only,” she said. “I think maybe in the past, I didn’t have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my partner less, I just wasn’t capable of it or caring that much."
This isn’t the first time Scarlett has revealed that Romain has changed her, romantically; after admitting in February that marriage “wasn’t that important to her,” she became engaged to Romain last month.
Scarlett admitted how busy she is, illustrating her schedule for Esquire; she adds that despite being a sex symbol, relaxation is the only thing she’s fantasizing about.
“What I want to do right now is sleep late, read the paper,” she said. “I’ve come to see that there’s something pretty great about having two hours to read.”
