Monday’s Boston marathon bombings have left Americans heartbroken for the famous city.
Now, four days after the tragedy took the lives of three individuals and left over 170 injured, the authorities are making major developments in the case.
While details of the tragedy unfold, celebrities like Sandra Bullock and Kerry Washington continued to show their undying support for the resilient city.

"That city is made up of amazing, strong, loyal, kind, giving people, and you saw that once everything happened," Sandra Bullock, 48, said Thursday. "You saw the amount of people that rushed into the danger and just helped everyone. All tragedies -- it brings out the best in people, and you just see what a great, great, great place Boston is."
Scandal star Kerry Washington also sent well wishes from her Twitter account: "My thoughts and prayers are with Boston. Tweets are on hold as developments unfold. Stay strong #Boston. #BostonStrong"
