In a sad turn of events, it seems Pamela Anderson is no longer invited to her close friend Sam Simon’s private funeral and it’s all because of an expensive piece of jewelry.

According to 'TMZ,' shortly before Sam’s March 8 death, the co-creator of 'The Simpsons' treated his good friend to a ring, which was reportedly worth a whopping $800,000.

As soon as Simon’s family found out about the gifting, they reportedly got very angry and immediately decided to exclude the 49-year-old from the guest list for the private service.

Apparently they feel that accepting the gift was not cool considering he was in such a delicate physical state.
Sam died after a long battle with colon cancer. He was 59-years-old. The service is set to take place on Tuesday.
