Maybe somebody should have broken the fourth wall.
Viewers were shocked when Ryan Edwards appeared to be driving under the influence on last night's episode of Teen Mom OG — but his co-star Simon Saran made an even more shocking claim when he said that MTV producer Kiki Malone was responsible for that dangerous scene because she allegedly gave him pills.

"Someone needs to open up an investigation on Kiki giving Ryan pills. It's really f--ked up! They could have died or killed!" Simon wrote on Twitter.

This isn't the first time Simon has suggested that Kiki acted as an enabler in Ryan's drug addiction. Earlier this month, he was hesitant to reveal any information but he did hint that she somehow had provided drugs for Ryan in the past.
"I wonder if I should talk about Kiki giving Ryan pills during shoots or save that for another day?" he tweeted at the time.
Ryan's drug use finally came to light during Season 7 of the hit MTV reality series after his ex-fiancée Maci Bookout hinted that something wasn't right about her eight-year-old son's father. She called a counselor and got advice on how to convince an addict to go to rehab and she even revealed that she would consider revoking custody of their son Bentley from Ryan if he didn't agree to seek treatment to get clean.

But during last night's episode — which was filmed before Ryan admitted himself into a month-long rehab program — he was at his worst. He swerved in and out of lanes and had trouble staying awake as he drove to his rushed marriage ceremony with his new wife, Mackenzie Standifer.
Shortly after the episode aired, Ryan broke his silence for the first time since his substance abuse issues came to light and in a statement released to Us Weekly, he gave fans an update on his condition.
