Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, are one of the most private couples in Hollywood, but Ryan has been dishing about his wife of less than a year in a series of interviews to promote his new film RIPD.

Ryan, 36, says there's not a day that goes by that he doesn't count his blessings.

"I've been lucky," he told Total Film magazine. "I have a wonderful wife. I have a good family and three older brothers that care about me and I care about them."

Speaking of his family, Ryan (who was previously married to Scarlett Johansson) reveals in the new issue of Details magazine that he can't wait to have kids with Blake, who he wed last September.

"We'd love a big family," he admits. "We both come from big families – my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."

But being one of four boys makes Ryan think that he and Blake will end up with a bunch of male kids themselves. "I'm terrified that I'm genetically predisposed to only having boys," he says. "That's frightening. By the time I was 10 years old, and I'm not exaggerating, I knew how to patch drywall. There's nothing my brothers and I didn't put a hole in. We turned our home into a Wiffle house. That's something I'm not looking forward to."
