It seems like any actor worth his Q rating has to compete in some sort of giant athletic event these days (see Jennifer Lopez’ recent triathlon). Well, aside from landing his A-list bride, Scarlett Johansson, Ryan Reynolds has now completed the New York City Marathon. “I’m still standing. I’m very excited about that,” he told reporters at the end of the event, which he finished in three hours, 50 minutes and 22 seconds. Ryan was running to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and was motivated by his own father’s struggles with Parkinson’s Disease. “When I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Avenue, I gained about 15 pounds in goose bumps. It kind of pushed me through the last six miles or so,” admitted Ryan.
