Kristen Stewart isn’t the only one apologizing for having a torrid affair with her married director. Rupert Sanders, who directed the star in Snow White and the Huntsman, is publicly admitting his own guilt and saying sorry to his loved ones for passionately kissing Kristen — many times — behind his model wife’s back.
“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying we can get through this together,” Rupert said in a statement to In Touch.
The director, married to model/actress Liberty Ross, was caught meeting with the Twilight actress in a deserted lot on July 17, where they kissed and hugged for some time before moving on in Kristen’s car to a secluded spot overlooking the Hollywood sign. There, they stepped out of the car to hug and kiss some more.
Immediately after their rendezvous, Kristen went home to the Los Feliz, Calif., home she has shared with boyfriend Robert Pattinson for nearly a year.
Still no word from Robert on the affair.
