Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea, was found just hours after the 53-year-old made a plea urging the public to help her find the teen, who had disappeared last week and was in need of medical attention.
The teen and her therapy dog, Bear, were found near the Jersey Shore yesterday, Aug. 18.

“Rosie wants to thank everyone for their help, especially the South Nyack, N.Y. and Barneget Light, N.J. police departments,” the former View host’s rep said in a statement.

On Aug. 16, authorities in upstate New York began searching for the teen, who was last seen Aug. 11.
While the mother-of-five, 53, has yet to give details on Chelsea’s situation, sources close to the family previously suspected the teen had voluntarily run away.
“Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness,” a rep for Rosie said at the time. “It has been a difficult road for Chelsea and her family and they just want her back safe.”
