According to new reports from E! Online, Zac Efron is doing well after completing a secret stint in rehab.
A source close to the star told E! that the 25 year old is “happy, healthy and not drinking” and added that he’s taking time to focus on working.
This sounds about right for Zac, who told GQ in 2009 that he wants to be famous for his personality, not his partying—which he said he keeps under wraps.
“It’s common sense," he told the mag at the time."If you’re gonna be drunk with your friends, don’t get wasted at the Chateau Marmont and hook up with some famous chick. It’s not rocket science.”
Zac’s next project, Parkland, is about the drama surrounding the day that President Kennedy died. The star was at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting the film and looking better than ever.
“I’m good, real good,” he told reporters at the festival.
Parkland opens in theaters on Oct. 4
