There’s a "Fergalicious" baby on the way!
In Touch can reveal that Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson and her husband Josh Duhamel are officially expecting a little one. Today, Feb. 18, the singer hinted at her pregnancy via tweet, which was then confirmed to In Touch by the singer's rep.
“Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump,” she wrote along with a childhood photo of Josh, a superimposed childhood photo of herself and a cat.
Okay, so the photo is confusing, but the words don’t lie!
There’s been a ton of pregnancy speculation around the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman for the past several months. She's also been very vocal about wanting a baby in the near future.
Only days ago, Fergie revealed that she and her Safe Haven actor hubby have been trying for a baby, calling the practice “great for our relationship.”
And Josh was never shy when it came to talking about kids, either! The hunky actor even had little ones on the brain in 2011 when he dished to Ellen DeGeneres about his ideal family situation.
“I used to want five, six but you know, probably not realistic anymore," he admitted. "Plus, I’m probably a little more selfish than I thought I was. So I think two is good. I think two is a good number. You can give them the right amount of attention, but whatever. We’re both from Catholic families; we like to procreate!”
Fergie and Josh married in January of 2009, and Josh later said it wasn’t only his wife’s “hotness” that attracted him to her: "There were a lot of things that were really compatible between us,” he told Oprah in October 2012. “At the end of the day, she's just an amazing girl."
Congratulations to the expecting couple!
