Super Bowl won't just have the football teams battling it out on Feb. 1., as reports are circulating that Katy Perry, 30, is ready to give Taylor Swift a run for her money when she performs onstage at halftime.

A source tells Hollywoodlife.com: “Katy is in complete rehearsal mode for her Super Bowl performance, she wants to make it feel like a complete party and something that will be remembered forever.”
Ok, nothing we wouldn’t expect from the ‘California Gurls’ singer… but then the source gets real catty with it all!

“She wants to make a statement with her performance and show that she is the biggest female act in the world and she wants to show that to everyone including Taylor. In Katy’s eyes, no one can compete on her level.”
As InTouch reported back in September, Taylor Swift revealed that her song titled ‘Bad Blood’ was about another female artist, but she declined to say who. Reports can only circle back to Katy as the two have been on-again, off-again friends for years!
I know why we're tuning into the Super Bowl this year - and with extra bowls of popcorn. Kat(y) Fight!
