Just days after Caroline Manzo confirmed her Real Housewives of New Jersey exit, a source close to the cast reveals to In Touch that the show is going to get a major face-lift for the next season — by introducing three new housewives!
“They have added three new women — twins Nicole and Teresa Napolitano and their friend, Amber Marchese,” the insider told In Touch.
“The show got really dark,” the insider explained to In Touch. “They needed to bring in new faces to get back to some of the lighter drama that everyone loves from the Real Housewives franchise.”
While the new cast members are being brought in to ease the tension, that doesn’t mean the show will be without drama; the insider even teased us with what to expect with Nicole, Teresa and Amber joining the show.
“These twins will be sassy and you can bet it will turn into new girls vs. old girls drama,” says the insider.
While Jacqueline Laurita has remained mum on the status of her return, the insider confirms that Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice will return as full-time cast members, while Kathy Wakile has been reduced to a part-time role.
As In Touch first reported, Caroline's sister, Dina Manzo, is also "in serious talks" to return to the show that made her famous.
