It's happening — well, we hope! Rain Brown took to Instagram earlier this week to post a photo with her siblings, and she promised a "surprise" for fans! Could this mean the new season of Alaskan Bush People is in the works? The 15-year-old wrote, "I'd like to say thank you for all the support I've gotten and the love I will be taking a short break from my Instagram over the holidays as should all of you! But will be returning with a surprise! Spend time with those you love! And remember to always smile!" Hmm…

Just last week, the reality star dropped a major hint that there would be more episodes when she posted a photo with a camera crew. "Alaskan bush people is coming back?!?!??❤️❤️??," someone commented. Another asked, "Are u [sic] doing another season of ABP?"

As previously reported, Brown family matriarch, Ami Brown, was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, which is why Season 8 has been up in the air. In an interview with People in August, the reality TV mama opened up about why she is remaining optimistic even though she only has a three-percent chance of survival.

"I realized early into this that it’s very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days," she said. "But I have the will to fight." She added, "Worrying about it only makes it worse. There is hope and that hope is having faith in God. You can’t give up. I tell people be happy. Just be happy. It’s a choice. Things can be hard and you just want to curl up but you have to shine." We hope Ami is on the road to recovery — and will be a big part of the upcoming season!
