Move over Real Housewives! TNT’s Private Lives of Nashville Wives new reality series may have some comparisons to the Real Housewives — but in the new issue of In Touch Weekly, the ladies explain that they’re just as spicy — but way more down-to earth — than their Bravo counterparts.
“We don’t sit around talking about the $15,000 goody bags we’ll get for our kids’ birthday parties,” business owner Ana Fernandez, tells the mag, on stands now. “We’re humble and hard-working.”
Co-star and singer-songwriter Sarah Davidson adds that people even compare her to Real Housewife Kim Zolciak.
“People will compare us, but I think it’s comical,” Sarah says of her fellow singer, but she insists they’re nothing the same. “I didn’t decide to do a TV show and then become an artist. Music is my life.”
But Jenny Terrell, VP of sales for an Internet company and married to Nashville mogul JT Terrell, admits she’s at the center of most of the in-fighting.
“My get-to-the-point attitude didn’t serve me as well with my castmates as it does in the business world,” she tells In Touch, adding that she’s even more no-nonsense than Real Housewife NeNe Leakes.
“I don’t have tolerance for nonsense,” says Jenny. “I think I’m even more direct than NeNe!”
