Upon turning 25 yesterday, Prince William received part of the inheritance left to him by his late mother, Princess Diana. William gets access to the interest and other income accrued on the $13 million (about $500,000 a year) left by Diana when she died in a Paris car crash in 1997. Younger brother Harry, 22, will also receive a similar amount when he turns 25. They will have access to the capital when they turn 30. Along with his inheritance, William is now old enough to choose who he wants to marry without his grandmother Queen Elizabeth's permission. To honor the 10th anniversary of Diana's death, William and Harry are planning a concert for July 1, which would have been her 46th birthday.
